“Getting to Zero Waste” hosted by the North Fork Environmental Council
Wednesday, October 20th 2021at 6:30 pm via Zoom
Without us, our planet works on a collection of systems which all work on a principle of Zero Waste – waste from one organism is food for another. Humans are the only residents which create waste which is not used.
But Zero Waste is just a part of a Circular Economy, along with Extended Producer Responsibility, Life Cycle Analysis and Product Stewardship.
NFEC is happy to introduce and explain these terms in everyday language and asks for your involvement in things like a Repair Cafe or Food Waste-to-Compost efforts.
Join us for this very important discussion. To register and receive a zoom link, email firstname.lastname@example.org using “Zero Waste” in the subject line.
We look forward to a productive meeting.
