Coastal shorelines are dynamic transitional zones regularly altered by the forces of nature. With climate change and rising seas adding a new dimension to coastal living. Kevin McAllister will address the science, policy and politics which determine the sustainability of coastal wetlands, recreational beaches and the Public Trust.

Kevin McAllister’s training and professional experience in coastal zone management (CZM) is substantive and diverse.Kevin holds a Master’s degree in coastal zone management where the focus of study was dune management on a developed coastline. Kevin’s professional experience with coastal resources protection spans three decades and highlighted by his work in South Florida managing major beach/dune restoration projects. Kevin’s current role is a public advocate for clean water and coastal sustainability.
